Dr. Sanyam Bajimaya

Dr. Sanyam Bajimaya is currently the Managing Director and specializes as a Cataract and Vitreo-Retina Surgeon at Netradham Eye Care Center. With more than 25 years of extensive experience in the field, he has become a prominent figure in ophthalmology, known for his expertise and contributions to the discipline. Prior to his role at Netradham, Dr. Bajimaya worked as a Cataract and Vitreo-Retina surgeon at the Tilganga Institute of Ophthalmology. Additionally, he served as an Assistant Professor at the National Academy of Medical Sciences (NAMS)

Dr Bajimaya has received Asia Pacific Academy Award 2022 (Nakazima Award) and South Asian Ophthalmology (SAO) Excellence Award 2023. He is Council Member of Asia Pacific Vitreo-Retina Society (APVRS), current President of Nepal Vitreo-Retina Society and also life Member of All India Ophthalmological Society (AIOS), Nepal Ophthalmic Society (NOS) and SAO. Currently he is Specialized Medical Examiner (SME) for Civil Aviation Authorities of Nepal (CAAN). He has International Memberships from American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO).

Dr. Bajimaya is an expert at Cataract surgery and Vitreo-Retina Specialty. He has been actively involved in training, teaching, learning and research activities in the field of Cataract, Vitreo-Retinal disease, Diabetic Retinopathy and Pediatric Retina including Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP).
